Didn't She Dance and Dance - Paudie O'Connor & Aoife Ní Chaoimh

$ 20.00

Paudie O'Connor and Aoife Ní Chaoimh are an accordion and fiddle duet from Sliabh Luachra, Co. Kerry. Over the past twenty years they have been playing and collecting the music of Sliabh Luachra. Their influences include the fiddle students of Padraig O'Keeffe as well as Sliabh Luachra accordion greats such as Johnny O'Leary and Jimmy Doyle.

'Didn't She Dance and Dance' is a recording that's a tribute to the music they have heard and the musicians they have played with. The albums detailed sleeve notes give a detailed history of the tunes and the musicians from which they were collected.

Paul de Grae (guitar) and Ruairí McGorman (bouzouki) provide accompaniment.

Paudie O'Connor's debut album 'Different State' is a landmark Sliabh Luachra recording.
