Failte Ui Ceallaig - Laoise Kelly

�F�ilte U� Cheallaigh� or �Kelly's Welcome � is a new collection of solo tunes on harp by Laoise Kelly, from Westport. It was inspired by the upcoming Kelly Clan Rally in Westport, and the abundance of unique tunes connected with Kelly's of one kind or another from 17th Century up to today.\r\n\r\n

\r\nIt features tunes by the famous 17th century harper Turlough O'Carolan, which were composed for various Kelly clans.\r\n\r\n

\r\nKellys feature in many of the titles of the various jigs, reels, waltzes, polkas and slides in this album, while other Kellys feature as collectors or composers of these eclectic tunes. The final track features a newly composed air by Laoise bringing this music collection right up to the present day.\r\n
