Bothy Ballads of Scotland - Ewan MacColl - cassette

$ 2.00

In Northeast Scotland it was the practice, until fairly recent times, for male farmworkers to be accommodated in buildings separate from the farmhouse proper.. Such buildings were known as bothies. Since the Northeast was extremely rich in traditional songs and ballads, it was natural that the bothies should reflect life and attitudes of the workers.
